Weekend Update

This weekend I went to a fall festival, celebrated a coworker's birthday at work, and went out to dinner with the bf's family. There's always food at work, so I've really been focusing on unique and seasonal foods; there will always be cookies and other things, but pumpkin flavored things will be gone soon. I just finished inputting my nutrition for the weekend, and I went over by 200-400 calories on 2 of the 3 days! Looks like I also need to focus on serving sizes as well (my BF and I could have shared bread sticks at Pizza Hut or that pumpkin pie mini blizzard).

On a brighter note, I've been walking 10,000+ steps every day for the past 3 days! A couple night ago I was so close with 9,000-something steps and speed walked around the apartment until I hit my 10,000 steps. I felt stupid, but accomplished. According to my Fitbit, my daily steps have increased by 16%.

I also joined the 28 day challenge and yesterday I did the 10 minute video before work. I'm so proud that I was able to drag myself out of bed early- even if it was just 10 minutes early!! Unfortunately, today I overslept and just made it to work on time. Luckily, it's a short work day so I will have the afternoon free to work out. I hope to make it a habit to get up 10 minutes early to work out.

Goals for this week:
* Keep waking up early and doing the 10-minute 28 day workout videos.
* Increase fruit and veggie intake.
* Work out once per day (full 20-30 minute workout).
