Some Sunday!

Sunday, October 06, 2013

thank you all for your comments and support, they are much appreciated... Glad I could inspire others as well. It would be great to prep food with someone else, and then you would be able to share and not have to eat the same thing for days and days and days... haha., had the soup for supper last nite and tonite, don't know if it will make it to tomorrow..... of course, I did share with my niece this time. and the coleslaw is incredible...... Yum...

Today, woke with a headache, missed church and stayed in bed till 11:30, then got up for a coffee and saw Buddy running across the very busy street in front of my house. The little bugger had pulled so hard on his rope that he must have slipped the clasp out and released himself.. Thankfully, I got him back, really makes me mad that there were about 5 dogs roaming the roads today, so much for being a responsible pet owner and keeping my dog tied up.

Got some work done today, Patty, you should see what I did with milk crates, I didn't even buy the shelving boards, just stacked them and sorted all my wool, made room in the front porch for wood pellets, and now I can see at a glance what I have, how much, and that I don't need any more.

Buddy and I had a brisk 7.5km walk in the brisk wind.... Brrrr!!! Was going to do a WATP video, but it's already 11pm, guess I ran out of time.... had several phone calls and lots of emails, so was busy - well, I guess the day was actually much shorter to with sleeping half of it away!!! (Did Leslie's Walk & Kick last nite and felt like doing even more)

Must CELEBRATE that even though my food was off (and I did eat chocolate after the Buddy scare!), I made good choices tonite.... jello and SF yogurt, tuna with wasa bread, after I had the soup.... so learning some new habits, and let me tell you, THAT WALK FELT SO GOOD!!!!!

The milk crates are a great idea. I've got my yarn in totes and I have to open them up to see what's in there. I would have eaten the chocolate after the Buddy scare myself. My daughter laughed at me the time I called 911 when my grandkitty got herself stuck in a car. Definitely overextended myself this week. I'm not sure where I put Mom's taxes from last year - brought them here to make a copy, and....I don't know. Time to practice the word "NO".

Glad you got Buddy back safely. I'd like to put a kennel in my very small back yard for my furbaby.
I use milk crate shelves in my classroom to hold the students' lunch boxes. Works like a charm but I bet it looks more colorful with your yarn!
    Have a great day!
