Sunday, October 6, 2013--So Glad to Be Home

What a week I have had. I have been to Charleston, SC, Myrtle Beach, SC and then Lake Grove, NY. I have flown on 5 different planes this week and am so glad to be home back in good old Indiana.

What I learned on this trip is that I could find ways to get my exercise in. I had so much fun walking on the beach in South Carolina and then walking around the airports to get my walking in. I was in complete control of what I ate and drank. However, I did indulge in 2 glasses of Pindar wine last night, but I had filled the glasses with ice first, so it probably was only 1 glass total.

I was very lucky visiting my sister because her family is eating healthy. On my last night they grilled corn, broccoli and peppers along with chicken and steak. So yummy.

Looking forward to getting back into my routine and continuing the battle toward a healthier me.

    That is AWESOME that you had so much success while on vacation!!! Talk about guilt free vacationing! :-)

    My hubby was stationed in North Carolina when he was in the army, but he LOVED LOVED LOVED South Carolina, especially Myrtle Beach! I bet it was awesome weather while you were there!

    Despite such a great vacation, home and routine is a welcome thing too! :-) Glad you're home safe and sound!
