Aaagggh! This is what stress does.

Woke up this morning to find I gained back all the weight I lost since joining the Camo team. I did quite a lot of after-hours stress eating. On the positive side, none of the food I ingested was junk food, it was healthier stuff. I am meeting my other goals- no diet soda again! The weather was nasty all day, so I did (rather reluctantly) 20 minutes of floor exercises (planks, wobble board, yoga). We had loud thunder last night but I managed six hours of sleep, which for me is terrific.

    It's great that you still made healthier choices, even if you consumed more than you had hoped. The exercise is a great step in the right direction too! emoticon emoticon

    Don't worry about one week that was not that great. Just keep doing what you know works and it will even out. Stress can kick up cortisol and cortisol retains water (I just learned that a few months ago of why when my cortisol is up I can gain 3-4 lbs over night then lose it overnight - crazy ups and downs). If your sleep, workouts, and eating were like your typical ones, likely it was stress. So keep doing what works for you and the weight might just blip back down.

    Weight loss is not always a perfect downward drop...sometimes we have to wobble a bit. You are keeping to your goals and exercising, you will get there.

    Wish we could get some rain so I don't have to go outside after work and water all my plants. Just remember to keep going for ward one step at a time.
