Every once in a while, I feel as if I have the flu. It's usually when my allergies are bothering me. I ache all over and have a slight fever. That happened this weekend. I felt really crummy on Friday and Saturday, and I got very little done. I'm starting to wonder if when my allergies act up, I have more issues with sleep apnea, and then I ache from lack of good sleep. Who knows. I'm just thinking out loud here. I'm getting a new machine for my sleep apnea soon, so the new machine should be able to compensate for allergies. We'll see.
I noticed that I had a tremendous amount of guilt over not exercising on Friday or Saturday, even though I had met my weekly goals for minutes of exercise and calories burnt. I made the choice not to exercise. My husband, who knows a lot about fitness, told me to give my body some rest. I need to stop feeling guilty over this. I did the right thing! I listened to my body. I ate pretty well too. I didn't get in all my fruits and veggies, but I got in some, and I didn't overeat, which is what I would do previously when I got this achy flu feeling.
I feel better today, but I'm still pretty tired. I'm going for a walk soon, but I'm not going for a long walk, and I won't push to get my steps today. I don't know if this is allergies, flu, or if I'm weird. Well, I KNOW that I'm WEIRD, but I like being weird. :-) Anyway, I'm going to listen to my body and not push hard today. I have nothing to feel guilty about.
