A very good running week for me as I slowly get back into ideal running condition. A total of 12 miles, ran Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, so a good test of the Achilles tendon. No issues! I'm right around a 10 minute mile, obviously want t lower that, but I promised myself I would get there slowly and not reinjure the tendon.
Pretty sure I am going to run in the "Panther 5K Run/Walk" on 10/26, which benefits our local high school's AFROTC. The run is at one our local country clubs which I have not been to before, so in addition to running I'll definitely check out green fees, course layout, etc. A 10/26 date gives me 3 more weeks to get ready to run my first timed race in over 4 months.
