Blessings, October 6, 2013

Sunday, October 06, 2013

My goal is to list at least three blessings every day.

Here are today's blessings:

1. My family is willingly helping me with chores this weekend. We work, we rest, we work, we rest.

2. The power of prayer.

3. Improving health.

4. Family, friends, and faith.

Feel free to list your own blessings. Have a wonderful day!

Wow!!! It's been a while since I kept a gratitude journal listing the blessings of my day... perhaps me reading this post was a gentle push to start one again. Thanks for Sharing!!

My 3 things I'm Grateful for:

    1. My basic physical needs are met. I have enough money, food, clothing etc. to get the job done.

    2. Every day is a new day. I can choose to build on yesterday's successes if they work for me OR I can start fresh with new choices and behaviors. When I slip up I have a "reset" button I can press and make better choices. This allows me to be free to move forward and not get stuck in the past.

    3. I am not alone and I don't have to do it alone. I have a network of supporters that I can turn to. The key is my willingness to surrender my ego and ask for that support.
