I've had an epiphany...
I loathe running/jogging. Its sooooooooo boring to me! But I felt I "HAD" to do it to lose weight and get into shape. I said I wanted to run another 5K, but when it comes down to it, I really don't want to. Anyway, I'm starting to dread going to the gym and getting on the treadmill. I shouldn't have to dread working out. So I've decided that I'm just not going to do it anymore. Why waste my time doing something I don't like doing when there are so many other things I can be doing that I do enjoy? Walking, biking, elliptical, classes, swimming.....all other great forms of cardio!
Anyway, I was introduced to Tabata training by one of my BLC23 teammates. I did a session tonight and it kicked my butt! But I loved it and it was not BORING at all! This was the workout I did tonight: www.fitsugar.com/10-Minu
I plan on doing Tabata training 1-2 times a week, along with my other exercise routines. That should get my butt into shape quickly!
