I have struggled with my weight the majority of my life. I have always tried quick fixes and when they dont work, I get frustrated and quick trying. Then I met my husband who was healthy, and took care of himself and hearing that he also struggled with his weight most of his life. He inspired me to want to take care of myself. Then when I was diagnosed with MS and PCOS, I knew I HAD to do something! My doctor advised me that the best way to keep the MS and PCOS from flaring was to eat better and exercise.
He was right! For 7 straight months, I have been a member of a gym and changed my eating habits. My last visit to my doctors office was amazing! I went from taking 2000mg of Metaforim to only 500mg a day! My uterus is now looking like a normal uterus :) My weight is NOW coming down..slowly but surely! My doctor did tell me it wont be easy but he said it can be done.
I havent eaten fast food in 4 months, stopped drinking sodas 8 months ago. I drink almost 100 ounces of water a day. One thing I know I need to work on is watching my food intake (portions). I need to be more consistent with my food diary.
I wont quit! My goal is to be a size 16 by Christmas..that means I have 2 months to drop another size..wish me luck!
