This week has not been the best as far as tracking was concerned. I ate out a lot and just did not worry about tracking. I am sure I ate more than I should have but it has been a busy week and I was off program. I only went to the gym on Monday. I realized that if I was going to get everything I wanted to get done I could not work out and then come home and pack out my upstairs. I only have so much energy and it is hard to empty out 4 bedrooms. Why am I emptying out the bedrooms? Because after living in this house for 25 years we are finally upgrading the builders grade rugs that we could not afford to upgrade 25 years ago so we were going to live with them for a few years and replace them later. Well a few years turned into 25 years. The flooring company is coming on
Wednesday and they are going to install hardwood! I am really excited. But before they come in I have to empty all 6 closets and move all the drawers that I am not emptying downstairs. So I have 3 days left and have 5 out of 6 closets empty except for DD wedding dress which will be visiting a friend while the workmen are working so that it will stay dust free. DD2 BR will be emptied on Tuesday since she will be using it though out the work. Her closet is almost empty and her surfaces are mostly clear. Have you ever tried to get a sloppy teen clean her room? He book shelf is mostly empty. My downstairs looks a wreak because it is holding all the stuff that used to live upstairs. DH is away for the weekend so I am doing most of it alone.
Anyway that is my excuse for having a really bad week for meeting my goals. Here is my review.
1. Go to the gym MWF and do my regular workout.
Did not do it. I did a lot of stairs, and moving stuff. Ended up having to go back on ibuprophen for pain. Next week is a new week.
2. Do at least 2 trips upstairs to empty out the bedrooms each day. (The flooring people are coming on Oct 9th and we have to empty out all the dressers and closet.) By Friday the 2 spare rooms need to be completely done and DD book shelf needs to be empty.
Was I insane? Two loads a day? I easily did a half dozen each day. Some how stuff grows over 25 years. The bookshelf is not quite empty but it has definitely been started.
3. Stay within calorie range all 7 days
On the days I tracked I did, but did not track 3 out of 7 days.
4. Do a 2 mile WATP on non gym days.
Did not even try. I allowed myself 45 minutes of exercise for house cleaning each day. I spent a lot more time than that but I did not think that I could count all the time since not all of it was cardio. However I went up and down those steps multiple times each day so I deserved something for it.
This coming week will have workmen in the house on Wed and Thurs. I need to finish getting all the stuff downstairs. Then a lot of it will stay downstairs until the painters are done and I don't have a time for that so I am taking next week off from exercise goals. I will do the best I can. I hope to have the upstairs all back together by November 1st.
