I am glad that the week is over. It was a difficult one. Fortunately it ended quietly. Yesterday was a good day. I didn't have a lot of motivation, and only did minimal exercise but I did do something.

I made some yummy vegetable soup. It had carrots, Kale, bok choy, and onions. I threw in a lot of seasonings and even some hot pepper. My plan this week is to have soup or salad with every dinner. I am going to leave the carb cycling plan for now and may come back to it later on. I think it's good to mix things up.

Today will be Halloween decorating day. I will start putting up my Halloween village, which usually takes a couple of days, and then tomorrow do the rest of the decorating.

Your soup sounds awesome. I make a similar one and add a couple of chopped jalepeno peppers. It gives a nice warm heat for those cool fall days. I miss autumn in New England. Hope you had fun decorating. We need a photo:)

The soup / salad is a great idea!

You must really go all out for Halloween for it to take a couple days to get your decorations out. I'm lucky if I get out my wooden pumpkin. Jack and I stopped at the dollar store after dinner tonight. He bought a skull and a skeleton to decorate his Chevelle for a couple upcoming cruise-ins...so we have tripled my Halloween decorations. :)

Wow! That soup sounds delicious and very, very healthy! Good for you for making it after such a hard week. I hope things stay calm with your mom over the weekend.

You have reminded me that I need to dig out my fall decorations....I'm going to do that now!
