I woke up this morning feeling better than I have felt in weeks. I have had an extremely difficult time adjusting to my new schedule since I have started grad school. Prior to September, I had a well established sleep routine. I would go to bed at 9pm and wake up at 5am without an alarm clock. In fact, I could even tell you when it was just about 9pm simply because of how I would feel. Since I started grad school, I have not been able to maintain my old sleep routine. Two nights out of the week I am at school until 9:30pm and then still have an hour drive home after class.
This week one of my classes was cancelled by the professor. It is the first time since starting school that I have felt well rested once again. I am praying for the grace and the willingness to continue doing what I need to do to take care of myself one day at a time.
