American football can be really exciting.

Saturday, October 05, 2013

I used to love watching the college games on Saturdays. But after hearing about the amount of concussions in the players that can lead to early dementia, and also lead to traumatic brain injury, not to mention the leg and knee injuries so many players face that lead to difficulty walking in later life, I had to give it up. These guys are heroes for corporate America, and neither they nor the corporations that sponsor them are particularly concerned with what the consequences of participation in their sport really are. Sure it's a lot of fun, but look what their facing later on. Sorry. I'm out. Glenn
