Hey Hey it's Saturday-yay!! Hi there Sparkies. I've just been catching up with sparkie friends and thought I should write a blog. No topic just a blog.
I've just got the kids tea ready and thought I would get my tea ready too. I wasn't sure what I was going to have. Although I am making sure I always have something healthy in the house for my healthy options. I settled for crackers with tinned tuna done in tomato and basil.
I like to include tin fish , although tuna is one fish I have never been a fan of. But I do like to try new healthy things. So I am having it while I am blogging. Not really an ideal arrangement-blogging and eating tuna fish on crackers. Okay, I stopped and had it, and now I'm back. It's a 95 gram tin, one serving, and 485 kj which I know isn't much in the way of calories. And it is 16.2grams of protein. The first cracker with the fish on was not that nice, but it tasted better as I ate it. I will actually buy it again. So , that is something new to include in my healthy eating. I had six crackers with it. And I have two glasses of water here with me. Don't I sound a good little Sparkie-hehe!! I need to be because yesterday Sammy made these huge, tasty M n M cookies and I had a couple as well other not so slimming things over the last two or three days. So a good day is a great idea. I still am striving to reach that first twelve kilos down. When I reach that goal I will head for the 15 or twenty kilos mark. Twenty kilos will be a wonderful milestone. But, one step and milestone at a time.
Plus I only have about three weeks of my blood pressure meds left. I got a script only last time, but this time I have to have my blood pressure checked first. And I want to surprise my doctor. He is a cool doctor and a great inspiration himself with things he has battled with. When I go and see him he makes some joke like "what have you been up to running marathons " or some similar kind of joke. I take it in the way he says it, in fun. But I want him to notice I've lost some weight, so twelve by then would be good.
I think I am beginning to notice some things tasting sweeter. I have always liked sweet things. I used to have two spoons of sugar in my coffee or tea. But now I have one.Which I have had for years now. I have not elimanated sugar from my drink. Although I have the occasional one with no sugar. But I am also drinking more water than coffee or tea. Green tea-yes we know all about that stuff. I've had two or three drinks of that putty tasting drink since I began in June. I find when I am sitting down at home, like on the computer or watching tv I have a couple of cups of water with me. That encourages me to get through all the fluids, especially water that I need to. I am a person who has times when I can drink heaps and other times that I am quite likely dehydrated.
I am noticing that my trousers are getting pretty baggy. They are however just pull up ones, with a draw cord. I have worn that style for years. They work well with my size frame and also for changing body weights. And I have tried a couple of tops on that now fit. So I am moving in the right direction

I bathed my dogs earlier. They just hate the bath, but they love it when they get out all fresh feeling. They shake the water all over the place and roll around after their bath.
