This kinda sucks...

Friday, October 04, 2013

Ever have those days where it's completely like how in the world did I forget I was going for an ultrasound, cannot eat or drink after 4pm (I could drink a tiny bit if I have to take a pill, ie my birth control pill at 8pm), yet I talked about it work how my appointment is at 10pm, and SO looking forward to Costco hot dog, pizza or fries at about 5:30pm? Seriously, I did plan out a better plan on food wise earlier this week, yet today, I somehow forgot. Ate huge lunch about 11:45am, just before work, a very lite snack about 3pm, and nothing for another 1.75 hours until my appointment. Wendy's here I come. Ok, not the greatest choice in foods, it's on the way home, I would like to try their pretzel chicken burger (bun is somehow a bun and a pretzel, not sure what to make of it, but whatever).

I've packed a snack into my purse already, my hubby made a valid point and knows me so well, that as soon as I get out of the appointment, I'll be starving and complaining about food. Plus, there's a chance that my sugar level might be low, my body may feel weak, I'll need a quick pick-me-up.

I have gallstones from my previous ultrasound. The doctor wants a new ultrasound to see what it's like this time around, last one is from January, 2009, my first attack, my second one just happened in July, of this year, so he wants to see what's up and go from there. Probably surgery, he told me I could have the surgery as soon as the appointment gets set up or the next time I have an attack, has to be done. So sometime later, I'll know more. Just a waiting game, probably within the next 3weeks, I'll know more.

waiting is never fun- and gallstones, they aren't fun either- you are right, at the moment things suck, BUT they will get better. you will get answers and you will get that gall bladder taken care of, just don't lose hope in the waiting
