Been Down

Friday, October 04, 2013

I have been down since Tuesday or I should say early Wednesday morning. I woke in a cold sweat and felt as though someone had put my left shoulder in a vice and was tightening it. I took one nitro and could not really tell a difference so I took the second one and knew that if I took the third one I would be calling 911. Sat in the recliner in the living room with o2 on and waited and the pain did subside. This whole episode has left me a little under the weather. I see my gp this afternoon but not specifically for this. I had some other things going on that I wanted checked.
Any way my last couple of days have mainly been resting,. All day Wed I used the O2 did a little yesterday and hopefully won't have to today. Right now I am taking one of the breathing treatments and will take the second one when this is done. Seems to work better that way. Usually I have only had to take the one, but since I did all the burning and working in the smoke, I have had to do both. It is better and hopefully I will be going back to the one a day.
We are getting duck eggs. One a day. I don't know if we only have one hen or rather only one laying. From the looks of the ducks I believe I have 3 hens but will wait to see. I can't tell them apart Jeff seems to think that the one is broody. He thinks she is sitting on her eggs about all the time. I don't know because I have not been paying attention
I want to get out and cut off some more grapes for the chickens. The grapes are beyond their prime and I have done all that I am going to do with them so the chickens get blessed. I do throw some out for the ducks but I have to throw out individual grapes for them and with the chickens I can throw in a bunch
This breathing treatment is done so I am going to take the second one and get out and get the grapes taken care of. I did pick a few tomatoes and a zuccinni earlier. Believe that will be the last of the zuccini. Will probably start clearing the plants off and feeding them to the chickens and rabbits within the next few days. A lot will depend upon what I find out this afternoon. Have all my notes and numbers ready to take with me. I have to keep a daily journal of BP Pulse, O2, weight and glucose. Medication doses require it.
I thank the Lord for His goodness and mercy. The days have been so beautiful and enjoyable. I have Him guiding me in building a small building just to hold all my fishing gear. I am tired of not having a place to put it so I asked His help in knowing what to do and when to do it. I have the foundation and floor done. Next month or later this month I will start constructing the framework for the walls.
that is it for the time being
God bless each and every one of you

You must learn to take things easy which of course is against your nature! Those chickens are very lucky. My husband loves duck eggs, so rich with big yolks. Yummy yummy. Today in London is glorious and like you I am thanking God.

Please don't overdo it and have a relapse. The garden can wait. HUGS!
