Hello to all the Sparkpeople,
In the last month, I have been plagued with different injuries, probably because of my over enthusiasm. My chosen activity of walking has presented blisters, sore feet, a shooting pain in my heal, making it very painful to walk on. This is how unfit I am folks!
But I have always been interested in trying different activities, and on this site there is such a variety. I have tried Pilates, different cardio exercises, Bollywood dancing, exercise using the exercise ball or weights.............so really there is no excuse. Today my feet hurt, so I opted to go swimming. I keep forgetting how much I love to swim, and that every part of my body is having a workout.
I am embracing everything, I will admit, the portions still have to be measured and the drinking of water needs careful planning, and sometimes I do not manage the 2 litres, but as each day begins I start off with a clean slate, ready to be more mindful in all I do.
I feel so blessed to have found this site, and am amazed at how helpful, kind, encouraging, thoughtful this community is, thank you to each and everyone of YOU.
Now I need to plan all the activities for the weekend, one thing is for sure I will not get bored.

I just remembered that I am going to a party on Saturday so there will be plenty of dancing, any excuse to continue to move!
