Day 3! Still Suck-Free

I didn't do cardio, obviously, due to my injury, but I think that's a fair excuse. I did include filling foods, so I'm giving myself a check mark for the Skinny Jeans challenge. Anyway, so far the challenge has had 2 cardio days, and I've had 2 cardio days, just one of them was a different day.

Still at it! Going to check my calorie deficit for the end of the week, since I'm lighter on exercise Th - F- Sa than I was Su - M - Tu. Probably still good.

My scale is still weird. This morning I'm either 252, or 250.3. Hmm. 250.3 was closer to where I originally placed the scale as its "permanent" spot so maybe I should count that one emoticon Really the weight changes are between the first time I got up and the second time, and moving the scale about 1cm. Maybe I lost 2 pounds by lying in bed and then peeing again.

It doesn't take much sometimes. Sometimes I can move it 1cm and my weight changes 2-3 pounds; sometimes I can move it 2 inches and my weight doesn't change at all. I think those scales are just not that reliable. (I know people said "get a new scale" but I think they're ALL like this. If anything I'll get a piece of vinyl leftover from the kitchen floor from the basement & put it under the scale so it's on vinyl-over-tile, instead of directly on tile.)

But regardless, I should really be looking for my weight loss as of this coming Wednesday or so, as far as the first week of the challenge. It's only day 4! And I'll be excited to see where I am at the end of October; today's weight doesn't really matter that much.

    The same thing happens to me when I go back to bed and then get up and pee again. Actually, it makes sense if you don't drinking anything the first time you get up, but eliminate more liquid the second time....

    That scale would drive me crazy. Mine is permanently in the same spot and very accurate and consistent. I need it be since I gained 9 pounds on vacation and my clothes fit just fine. By the time I notice a difference with my clothes, the weight gain would be just too depressing.

    Yay for suck-free day 3!! And yes, get a new scale. That's ridiculous. Though it is possible that you lost 2 lbs by going back to bed and peeing again, it's probably unlikely. ;)
