Welcome to October 4. Get it, 10-4 good buddy! bah ha!
Boy did I overdo it yesterday! It started innocent enough, two slices of thin pizza, half a can of RC. I got all my freggies in yesterday, all my water, ate light during the day so it was all good.
AND THEN, we went to the wine tasting at the wine store near our house. No worries, it's five sips of wine, all good. AND THEN the chocolates came in from the chocolate of the month club DH signed me up for a few months ago (at the wine store). Still, no worries, I've been very good about making that small box last. The SP Tame Your Sweet Tooth Challenge taught me well.
AND THEN, we hit the Mexican resturant down the street with friends. Everything went south, I split steak nachos with DH and had a strawberry margarita. We had a good time, good laughs, then at home I hit the bag of oreos and dug into the chocolate of the month club while watching Grey's Anatomy.
So hitting the reset button today! I have a healthy breakfast, lunch and snacks packed for work. It's rainy and humid so walking breaks will be indoors. We have a junior high school sized gymnasium here at work so I do ten laps one direction, then 10 laps the other direction. I walk briskly on the long stretches and slowly on the short stretches to vary intensity.
The weather should be fine when I get home so I will run. Or plan B will be the elliptical. And water, water and more water today. I got two cups in before my morning coffee.
I had DH pick up the ingredients I need for Coach Nicole's pumpkin apple waffles that I will make this weekend in addition to plenty of fruits and veggies.
So I'm gonna hammer down with my activity till I get to the chicken coup on Sunday (Translation: I'm going to speed up on activity till I get to the weigh station aka weigh-in day on Sunday).
