Sewing and Sparking!

Thursday, October 03, 2013

Today I worked on that T-shirt quilt again. I found a flaw in one of shirts and tried to see if I could fix it. Looked like a dab of paint or something on it. Don't think it will come off.

Cut out some pumpkins to sew. Had to borrow the already made pumpkins from DD cause I couldn't find my pattern. Hope I find it some day. LOL Got the scarf fabric ready, too. So much to do, but I keep at it. Love to see the finished craft!

Actually did well today on tracking. Finally, got enough protein and fiber at the same time!
emoticon It took two protein drinks to get it and a cup and a half of frozen raspberries and powdered fiber to help. Though I like different bean varieties, trying to eat 2 cups everyday for protein and fiber is just not gonna happen for me. I slip in the FF Greek yogurt when I can. I like it with raspberries and a little stevia.

Funny, I was thinking about my sweet tooth today and realized that the FF sweetened condensed milk in my tea seemed to help with that. Also, a T of melted butterscotch morsels seems to work. DIdn't do that today, though.

Started doing organic, tart cherry juice for the knee pain. Brother said it worked for the pain he has. Got the good side effect of good sleep. emoticon Gotta get those Z's!

It's after ten and I am waiting for DH to get home from work. Will continue to sew and watch some TV until he gets home.

Have a great night, All!

Sounds like a nice way to spend the evening. My son loves sleeping with a t shirt quilt that belonged to his older brother originally that my mom made years ago. emoticon
