Sometimes life is NOT Fair. SIGH !! Feet

Thursday, October 03, 2013

the title says IT ALL !! I had JUST Written in a previous blog,, and to some on the team "this time I DO NOT have a foot surg scheduled" !!! I was SOOO DELIGHTED,,, notice the word "WAS"?????

Today I saw Dr W,,,, the pain in lf foot is quite bad,,,enough so I do NOT WANT to STEP ON IT !! OH YEAH !!! He said he can go in and make it so I do NOT feel that nerve,,, and also we can "chipping away at it Diane, until we get ur feet back to feeling well". Sooooo he gave me a shot which DID help,, so he will hear from me on Mon,, if I now go,,,, that it did so. He said if it did, he has the correct area for yet,,,, THAT Surg in making surah that nerve has NO PAIN !! recovery? 3 weeks.

HOWEVER !! This AM when I checked my feet,, which of course being a diabetic,,, though my AC 1 is EXCELLENT at 5.? I get that report soon,,,,,, my foot yesterday had a "dimple" on it,,,,, and today? It clearly Lqqked like a small ulcer. SIGH !! So this PM I went to the regular foot Dr (Dr W is a surgeon),,,, and OH YEAH !! it IS a small ulcer. I am now all wrapped upped AGAIN and Again back into the surgical shoe. SIGH !!! SIGH !! SIGH !!!! So if this ulcer takes me 2 or 3 weeks to heal ,,, I am TOTALLY OFF Foot,,, ever get soo tired of NOT taking a shower? I DO !!! That's prob the WORSE of it,, and NOT being able to do the chair exer's,,,,for that involves moving the feet, though I do them up high on the bed,,so feet do NOT hit the floor,, that's always just to painful. ,,,,, I COULD do them with one foot, but that hurts to much, and knocks me off on an "uneven" stance, which then hurts my back, which as it is, is NOT doing well at all,, hence why I had to stop inhome PT.

SO SORRY !! This is NOT really "Complaining" as it IS "Explaining" why I am again OFF my foot. I am though tired of this, but THANKFULLY it's getting coldah out,, so in a SMALL Way I do not mind.

HERE's TO TRACKIN and WINNIN OFF that 5% of the weight !!! I have just ovah 10 lbs (down from 11.4) lbs to lose this time !! WOOHOOOO !! AND YES !!! I AM GOIN FOR IT !! I seem to do QUITE WEll even when I can't exercise "Traditionally",,, I WILL though continue to do exer's in bed,,, and in small amounts for up to 120 mins a day,,or 60 on a bad day.

GOOOOOO DAWGGIES !! GOOOO !! GOOO ALL TEAMS on the 5% !! I play HARD, but FAIR !! Would LOVE a 12 WAY TIE !

Sorry to hear about the foot pain. Never fun. What I do when I get impact injuries is hop on the bike, much less taking and burns more than just walking. Good luck and get better soon

I'm with you, kiddo!! I have Diabetes 2 - and have lived through two frozen shoulders despite having excellent control and really normal A1Cs. That's what we have to live with. I just remind myself that "fair" is a weather forecast!!

Hope your healing goes very quickly and you start to mend NOW!!

Diane, you're a hero for still rising to your challenge when you have so much going on with your foot. I wish success for you with both the foot and your challenge. You're amazing.

Wah! Wah! Wah!, Just kidding GF. Sometimes life really stinks. But you have always bounced back. It may take you a bit longer this time, but you will and I know it.

Just listen to the doctor this time - please. You have a tendency to want to rush things. Slow down and listen to him - for a change. You listen, it goes in one ear and out the other. Then you do as you darn well please. Then you wonder why something didn't work - like your last surgery. I am sitting here listening to you make excuses and laughing.

It's a good thing I like you so much!! emoticon
