The leaves are starting to change in my area. I love it, but that also means the cooler weather will be moving in again. It was a little chilly a few weeks ago, but then it has been over 80 degrees this week! I hope I don't get sick again because of this crazy weather!
I got my HS class ring in 2003 when I graduated. ( I feel old!! ) We had our 10 year reunion over the summer, but I wasn't interested in going. Anyone I want to talk to from school - I still talk to! There are only a handful of people I still keep in touch with. I also didn't feel like spending $75 per person.... Anyways, I used to wear my ring a lot after High School! I ordered it to fit my left ring finger. When I gained a lot of weight, I stopped wearing it because it didn't fit right. I was randomly going through my little jewelry box this morning, and I saw it! It is actually a little BIG on my left ring finger! I could wear it on that finger, but I don't want to lose it. I put it on my right ring finger & it is a teeny bit snug. My right fingers have always been a tad bigger than my left. I will wear the ring for today, but I don't really like to wear rings on my right hand except for my thumb. I feel like the rings get in the way on my right hand for some reason! But I am just really happy that I can fit into my ring again AND it is loose on the finger I always wore it on!
Last night I took a newbie spin/newbie Barre class at the pilates location. It was really fun. Spinning was hard even though it was a newbie class. They went over everything they normally do in a spin class. They have these Real Ryder bikes that move side to side. It was strange standing up & pedaling on them because the bike rocked left and right! That was my first time ever doing a spin class. It was only 30 minutes on the bike and 30 minutes on the barre. That was my first barre class too. That seemed pretty good too for stretching. I have 7 classes left at that location. I want to try everything they offer. Trying new exercises helps me stick with the program & it also makes me work out different muscles. The spin class was a lot of fun, but my right foot was cramping at the last few minutes & my butt was feeling funky too! My legs actually aren't sore today somehow. I bet they would be if I took the 60 minute spin class though!
Tomorrow I am having a game night, so no kickboxing for me. I will have to do some exercise tonight and more over the weekend to make up for it!!! I -need- to do more 5k training. Eep!
I hope everyone has a fantastic rest of the week & a great weekend! Keep sparking over the weekend. I really need to make sure I stay within my calorie range every day - especially tomorrow night when there will be a lot of snacks & booze!
