TurboFire HIIT 25 was done in the morning and that was followed up with a 3 mile run with the dog. It's always so much harder to run with the dog because I can't keep a steady pace. With her, I always end up doing an interval run...
However, overall it was a great cardio day. My abs and quads are sore from yesterday's workout. Yay! Haha I know, I'm weird, but I love the feeling of a good sore from a great workout!
Today I will be baking a Lemon Blueberry cake for my hubby's birthday. The kids are so excited for today. I think it's because they will have cake and they get to blow out the candles.
Is it odd that we (my husband and I) don't really give each other gifts during special occasions (birthdays, Christmas, anniversary, etc)? We figure why wait til a special day to get something that we want? I mean, we may go out for a special dinner or have cake and such, but gift giving is just not our thing.

Breakfast: Tropical Shakeology w/ apple juice
Snack: Mango Greek yogurt
Lunch: Phase 8 protein shake, bowl of multi grain cereal w/ milk
Dinner: Smoked paprika chicken w/ rice & yellow squash
Snack: Vanilla Shakeology w/ watermelon chunks & half of the Blueberry Lemon cake (will be making 4 cupcake size cakes, so I will have half of that)
Total calories: 1536, carb 165g, protein 128g, fat 42g
