Fixing the Ranger brakes...maybe!?!?

Wednesday, October 02, 2013

Ken and I have been replacing and working on the brakes on his Ford Ranger for the past two weeks. This week has been spent on trying to bleed them so that the back brakes are working. He has tried everything in the book and then some and it just isn't happening. Today we went to the parts store and bought a new tool that was supposed to help in these types of situations that they just got in this morning (according to them). We came home and Ken used it. After squeezing the handle twice it broke off in his hand. Needless to say, we made another trip to the parts store to return it. They had another one that was made of metal instead of plastic so we exchanged the original one. The clerk in the store looked at Ken and said, "If you break this one, you better stop eating your spinach!" I looked at Ken and said, "Okay, Popeye, time for us to head home"...as I was laughing my behind off. It was almost dark when we arrived home and Ken said he was done until tomorrow.
I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings. LOL!!!
Wishing everyone a wonderful week. Enjoy the month of October and all that it brings. Be sure to tell your loved ones how much they mean to you and give them a great big hug. We are never promised tomorrow and need to take advantage of every day!!!
Blessings and hugs,
Helen
