WooHoo it's Walktober....

Wednesday, October 02, 2013

The 10th Annual National Walking Month Campaign has begun.

On Monday I purchased the new Spark Activity Tracker and look forward to getting it set up and starting my own personal walking program. After all it is Walktober and if you haven't seen it, here it is....

I know, you don’t really need a sign to Walk…

But sometimes a catchy phrase and some fun pictures can motivate an old Sparker like me to get back into the exercise game.... so I'm turning over a new leaf and gonna....

My Daily Dose of Vitamin W will get a few more things headed in the right direction.

Not to mention.....

I've got the nutrition part down pretty well by now and if I can just implement the fact that:

emoticon Nutrition + fitness = a happy healthy life emoticon

Walktober, let's kick up some Autumn leaves emoticon

Join me emoticon emoticon

Here's a link to the new activity tracker if you haven't seen it yet or have been thinking about purchasing some thing like it... I'm not waiting for Santa to bring me one emoticon

Good for You Linda, I love your upbeat blog and it's good of All of us to get more exercise be it walking or something else we enjoy. It sounds like you're ready for Fall which I am also. Enjoy your Walking time and I hope your DH or someone else will go with you as it's fun to have a walking companion. Please let us know how you like the new SP Activity Tracker as I might be in the market for one. Your page is so awesome and as usual the best SP around I've seen. You have such an artistic flair and I see it in how well you express how you feel and always love your enthusiasm for Living the good and Healthy Life. Enjoy your Walks and Weekend. I hope you feel better really soon.

Hugs & Love,

Jill emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Doing my best to keep moving with you, Linda! emoticon Love your pics, especially the one from (?) (I think that's what it says in tiny print). Anyway, great plan...I already have a Fitbit, so won't be ordering another activity tracker, but good to hear you're planning some really fantastic walking exercise! emoticon emoticon (Just had to use one of the new emoticons! LOL) I love that it is Walktober!! emoticon

I already walked a couple miles this week going to neighbor house for their chores while they are away. Too bad it is pouring down rain today.
