"help wanted" . . .

Wednesday, October 02, 2013

It has been a week since I had oral surgery, and the effects from the sedation have not worn off yet ( I am told that it CAN take up to a month to completely work it's way out of my body ) Sheesh! I had no idea ...I am so bummed. . . as it slows me down all day long. I am nauseated about 3-4 times/ day, and my mouth is still sore. I almost backed out of the upcoming 5K race....but just decided to do it anyhow....even if I have to jog it....I KNOW I will be glad I participated - no matter what.

I'm still faithful to track emoticon my nutrition and fitness emoticon here at SP, but I feel like that lil' search of a firecracker backpack. Lol. I need a boost, ya'll! The word is resilient!
I have to say I AM making progress. I think I need to havemore patience with myself...Lol.

I am asking for your emoticon prayers/encouragement for a complete recovery and that I gain 100% of my strength back. emoticon emoticon

It's great to be back in the gym....slowly introducing ST back into my weekly routine...and running 3X/week.....without any discomfort. So, that's good!
I have hope and faith that I will be at 100% soon! emoticon

For better or worse, I am still training for my upcoming emoticon ....this race is something I've been looking forward to as it is a family event, and my family is so excited about it! ....probably due to the dog costume event that is an addition to the 5K. My DD's would LOVE to adopt a pug puppy...

emoticon for letting me make this request...:::I really DO appreciate your support through this time in my life. It's just one of those shall pass.

I remember the frustration of the fuzziness after surgery (actually two in one week) some 10 years ago. You will get over it, so don't be too hard on yourself! And hydrate! And pray! I will too. emoticon emoticon emoticon
