Spark Activity Tracker

Wednesday, October 02, 2013

I recently bought the Spark Activity Tracker. I had been thinking about getting a Fitbit or something like that, so I was really excited when SP came up with their own tracker.

I really like the tracker. So far, I've only used it for walking, but I guess the tracker can tell if you are walking, running, or biking. How cool! I like that it tracks my steps, distance, and calories and puts the information into SparkPeople automatically.

The tracker doesn't do as much as some of the devices like the Fitbit and such, but it is a lot cheaper. I'm really happy how it's working and the motivation I'm getting by using it.

Just to be clear about this... I bought my tracker at full price, and SP did not ask me to post a review. I just decided to do so, because I like the product.

I bought my self a lifetrack, with isn't as fancy, but I use it daily to keep track of my steps. It's nice to see all the steps I've take, at work, or on a shopping day. Enjoy. ;)

I am a sports gadget person and as my bodymedia died after 2 years (usual shelf life), thought I would try this tracker as it was the right price. So far, interesting as I have been sidelined with a nasty cold and cycling injury.

Mine showed how many minutes I was on the bike the other night, then how long I was on the treadmill. It doesn't show the rest of the exercise, so you will still enter it.

I have the fitbit, but, didn't realize SP had one. Will look into it. My battery is low on the fitbit after 3 months. emoticon
