September was a very social month for me: there were some brunches, lunches and dinners with old friends, plus discussions over coffee with new friends; navigating the school run and playdates for my oldest child; welcoming a new year for myself; and celebrating Autumn’s arrival.
In the midst of the social festivities, I have been falling into a good rhythm at home with the kids. We are all doing well. I’m proud of myself for honoring appointments for myself in regards to self care, as well.
Since I’m breastfeeding the baby, my focus has been on living healthy – not losing weight. I drink about a gallon of water each day; eat 6 small meals; and have been incorporating more activity into my days. My big news: I broke up, successfully, with chocolate chip cookies!
With the close of September, I am saying goodbye to 4 pounds and many inches from my mid-section.
I’m looking forward to making October an even healthier month.
