For 3 weeks, I was going nuts not being able to jog due to a foot injury.
I decided that I was going to tightly wrap my foot, tightly lace my shoe, and see what I can accomplish. I started out walking a quarter mile with mild pain. I broke out into a jog and realized the pain increased but was still manageable. I ended up jogging 3 miles! Towards the end I noticed a limp in my jog so I decided that 3 miles was enough.
I came home and immediately took off the wrapping and got an icepack for my foot.
I am so excited that I was able to jog! I am also excited that I did 3 miles and finally earned my Sparkpeople trophy! I am thrilled that my muscles and endurance was up to par too! Woo-hoo!
Hopefully I can repeat my jogging experience tomorrow. I also hope that I did not swell up my foot again!
