Migraines Suck! But I still got in my exercise!

Did my exercise this morning. I started the skinny Jeans challenge today so I just did one round of those exercises. I did 30 min of Leslie Samsone Walk aerobics (Exhausting!). The yoga - gentle stretching I'm about to do. I have a horrible migraine combined with a tension headache. I took my medication but I think the reason I got it today (and two yesterday) is because I reduced my Topamax to 200mg morning and night when I was on 300 mg morning and night. so I'm going back to the 300 and see if that helps. yesterday all I did was some yoga because of the migraines or god awful headaches. all I know is I was nauseous and that usually indicates migraine. I'm stressing out a bit too much. I HAVE to quit smoking because it makes the lupus worse (among other health conditions). But the stress of finding out I have lupus makes me want to smoke. Vicious cycle that makes no sense except to other smokers. Wish me well in doing my yoga in the dark.

    I have had headaches since I was about 16. When I was 18 I was diagnosed with migraines and many years later learned some I has cluster headaches. A few months ago I was having almost daily headaches of one type or the other and my doctor had me start taking magnesium oxide and that seems to help

    It's so hard to get out of a cycle sometimes, but you can do it. I eat because I'm stressed and then I gain weight, which makes me stress more. Quitting smoking is definitely a GREAT way to get healthier. Hang in there! emoticon
