Bruce, he is a silly creature

Wednesday, October 02, 2013

So I mentioned how I was going to write about my silly little kitty, Bruce. Well, he never fails to make me laugh till I want to pee my pants and the lil bugger did it again the other night.

Picture this. I am sitting at my breakfast bar working on my laptop trying to fix my email account. I hear Bruce go into the litterbox (which is a HUGE condo of a porta-john. He needs lots of room in there and I learned this very early on). I can't blame him, who doesn't like a big ol' fancy comode! He is no exception.

As I sit there, I can hear him stewing around in the box all the way down the hallway. Thinking he is just getting himself 'situated' to do his business, I really didn't pay him much mind. That is, until I caught a glimpse of something out of the corner of my eye.

All of a sudden, I see (from behind the corner of the wall where his box is hidden) this spray of white rain into the hallway and it is hitting the opposite hallway wall.

In disbelief that this was actually happening, I just sat there and watched the rapid and violent showering of dirty kitty litter spraying from the litter box all.over.my.clean.carpet!!!

My cat, my sweet baby boy Bruce had built a mountain of litter, mounted over top of it,and was shooting it out the entrace way like a gopher digging a hole to China!

I couldn't believe it, but in fact happened. After all was said and done and a few good laughs later, we are all cleaned up...momma is no longer mad....and I can just smile at the fact that my lil man has such a personality to keep him (and me) entertained!

Peace and love all!!!

Thesis has been sarcastically digging all the way to China because her litter box was on the low side post-move. Yesterday I finally topped up the litter and suddenly everything's hunky-dory again... until the next time :P

Thank goodness for a sense of humor. Some housewives may have freaked out. My Little Sissie chews any threads she can get hold of like she would eat grass. I have a time keeping all the threads snipped short from curtains, carpets, blankets etc. Aren't Kitties characters? emoticon
