calories and exercise day 16

calories yesterday: 1459

I was really sure I went over yesterday but didn't! Still it wasn't the healthiest day, only 4 servings of fruit and veggies, I had phad thai and spring rolls for lunch. Delicious but deep fried and ultimately I wish I had shared it with someone - I only ate a third of the serving of the phad thai, but couldn't resist eating both spring rolls...

But still - a far cry from times past where that would have led me down a 'eat what you want today, you've already blown it' path. I did not eat mindlessly after. And it paid off!

exercise yesterday: none! my legs were sooooo sore! from the run two days before. I decided it was a good day to take off. I probably should have taken a little recovery walk but it was so rainy out, I just gave myself the day.

Not sorry either, I am sneezing and sniffly today so it was probably a good call to take it easy.

    You did a good job staying in your calorie range. Every once in a while you need a day of rest so your body can repair. Just try and not let it continue, stay in a healthy rut!

    Congrats on your portion control! I'm having trouble with fruits and vegis too - I don't find them overly convenient, guess I have to make some adjustments in that area!

    It was a good thing you stayed in! With a lowered resistance, you could be much worse today! And I'm so glad you are not beating yourself up about it.

    Recovery walks are the way to go...speeds up recovery time.
