Feeling weak

Wednesday, October 02, 2013

I want to make a difference in the amount of food I'm consuming. I'm feeling weak. I'm taking a moment. I'm here. If I'm here I'm not in the refrigerator. Right? I am getting things done. I'm drinking my water. 4 cups so far. Sometimes it feels like I'm going through withdrawals with the food. I had greek yogurt for breakfast. I will have lunch in 30 minutes. Broccoli with cottage cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers. Balsalmic vinegar and olive oil. More water. Coffee around one o'clock. I'm going to Zumba tonight. I put away 3 loads of laundry so far and changed the sheets. I put frozen turkey chili in the crock pot. I'm trying to be happy with me when I don't go to food. Baby steps.

Baby steps and have a cup of tea. Relax a little and get into your zone. You know you have a zone somewhere in that little world of yours.

    Take care of yourself.

It can be hard to come back and keep trying to make good changes for your health, but you can stick to this! Sorry you feel bad.

I know how you feel. I'm back on the proverbial wagon. Why is it that when you start eating healthy, you also start obsessing about food? One reason is that you are retraining your body to eat smaller portions. It's not quite where your brain wants it to be yet.

Hang in there! You've got a game plan and you can do it!

I'm trying out a new Zumba instructor tonight. Keep your fingers crossed that I like her because, ever since I moved to this area I haven't had luck finding an instructor I like.

Have fun at your Zumba class!
