I want to FEEL BETTER -- mind, body and spirit. Short term goal: to get up and down from the floor easier!
Diet Plan for the 5% Summer Challenge:
I will eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and two small snacks.
I will not mindlessly eat after supper while watching tv.
I will have dessert only once a week.
I will stay within my calorie range and limit salt-bad fats-and sugars.
I will track and log everything I eat.
Fitness Plan for 5% Summer Challenge:
I will take two 10-minute walks/day (walking around the buildings where I work) and stretch for 30-minutes each evening.
At least once a week I will do something more (long walk with husband, exercise dvd or video, waterwalking or water aerbics, the machines at the Y).
I will add "random acts of fitness" to my day.
I will blog and update my status to document my HEALTHY CHOICES.
I am in my fifties...and still figuring out who I am.
I have a good life and many blessings, but I am too often sad, angry, distracted or worried.
I don't like the way I look or the way I feel (I hurt all the time...sore back...sore legs...sore knees...sore arms...sore hands).
I am a minister and it is "embarrassing" to not-have-my-act-together.
I have long felt that John 10:10 was "my" Bible verse -- "I came that you might have life, life to the full."
I want to live a full life!
