Doing OK

Wednesday, October 02, 2013

So, Melanie had a rough night last night (expected). She hasn't been able to sleep at all. Hopefully the doctor will give her something to help her sleep today. Remembered to take and pick up my grandson from preschool, lol. Today is karate. It brings back memories of from when my kids were little. The girl who was supposed to bring dinner tonight had her great aunt and her husband's grandmother pass away yesterday, so I guess I will be cooking tonight. Of course, the person who brought food yesterday brought pizza. :/ I did eat a piece, but then ate a salad too. So good and bad. So many snacks in the house. Praying that God will give me strength to avoid them!!!

Pizza is not bad. Eating a whole pizza may be bad, but a salad and pizza is a happy healthy meal. You know what a friend told me to just concentrate on eating healthy foods, and playing more, and I am trying to make those things my focus, You will be fine, and put that leftover pizza down. In my house there is seldom left over pizza. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Hope your daughter recovers quickly. Like the others said, don't be too hard on yourself considering the circumstances. You can always start fresh after you go home.

It's difficult to stay on course under the circumstances that you are in. Don't be too hard on yourself if you indulge in something that is considered a "no-no". Just remember that you can get back on track when you get back home. Praying that your daughter has a speedy recovery!

    God bless!

Do the best you can. The main thing is being there for your daughter. emoticon
