Ok, September was a stinky month here. We had the rain for almost a week and then the flooding. That meant extra hours at work for me and lots more travel time. Nothing to complain about, I know, but it all knocked me off my game and messed up my rhythm. My Father-in-law has been sick for over a month. He is recovering, but the family was really knocked off their game. DH was home for a 2 week vacation. The list goes on.
I am a morning walker. It is now too dark to walk before I go to work. I am on my feet none stop for 8 - 10 hours at work, so I am not thinking about anything but getting off my feet when I get home. Plus we all know the list of "must do's" that pops up when you get home from work. Not much time left for exercising. I haven't been tracking my food, haven't been getting exercise..........Poor me, poor me.
Good grief does that feel better!
My mantra for October is this: NEW MONTH, NEW DAY, FRESH START! Can't let a rough month stop me. Was talking to a lady where I work, (we are both in the bakery) that has lost 40 lbs. this year. She is doing WW. She suggested that I walk for my 30 min. lunch break. I can eat at a 15 min. break. Going to try that. I know it isn't a lot of time, but it is some time and that is what counts. Do something every day. Track my food and exercise.
OK! I think I am done whining. Thanks for listening. Herd
