RE: My fitness times, & routines on, some of you, do not believe, me about what, i write down, on my Fitness Tiimes, & Routines on,, (you all, know exactly who, you are no, names mentioned).

This upsets me, greatly & makes, me sad as, the last time, i had a, similar problem to this, was just before, Xmas (2012) when, i was bullied, on this so, called Website which, i thought was, friendly (how wrong i, am !!!! !!!! !!!!).

I do hope, that i am, not going to, be Bullied about, this as i, would hate to, stop being/, coming on this, Website completely, as i have, come to far, & made so, so many friends, to completely give, up doing what, i love the, most Blogs etc, etc etc etc.

If i do, have to give, up all of, this i will, be very very, sad & very, very unhappy again, just like i, was the last, time this happened, to me just, before Xmas (2012), this last bit, is to those, people who like, to bully other, lonely vulnerable People, JUST GROW UP, !!!! !!!! !!!!. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

    I've worked 13 - 16-hr days of extremely strenuous work, driving a recycling truck, literally running to the curb and back, hefting 4,000 kg up to the hopper and then running back to the curb. Not allowed to take breaks except for a quick washroom run while at the recycling facility. The closest I could find is "farm labour", so that's what I use to track some of the workout that I got on the job.

I was also told by my trainer that if I was still breathing, I wasn't going fast enough.

No need to go to the gym at the end of the day - straight home to bed and straight back at it the next day. My husband would nearly have to carry me out the door.

Now, I still do strenuous work, but am treated so much better and get paid very nicely for using my body as a machine! LOL :D

Hang in there, sweetie. Bad people need to be reported and kicked off. If it was just some helpful advice that got misunderstood. take a look and be sure you know it's bullying and not someone trying to make sure you're tracking correctly. You are on the winning team - we won't let anyone bring you down! (((hugs!)))

    Sometimes when we come from different places we learn to communicate differently. This, to me, sounds more like a communication misunderstanding than someone being intentionally mean.

Also, you are in a different country than we are in, and in no way is that a negative thing, but you have a different measure system than we use. So maybe your food tracker is setup differently for you. I'm not sure, I think a gram is a gram no matter what. Hours are hours no matter what country you are in and 14 hours of exercise is a big chunk in a day regardless. We have 24 hours in a day and if you are exercising 14 hours of that day it leaves you with 10 hours to get everything else done. I'm not in any way saying that you have entered in the wrong information or that you are not exercising for 14 hours but if it's all posted correctly then I'm asking sincerely, how much sleep do you get? You only have 10 hours remaining in the day and apparently you work if you have your own flat that you are fixing up. How many hours of work do you do in a day? I just want to understand, not saying that you are putting wrong information in.

Again, please do not misread this and take this in a negative content. It is not my intent to be negative at all. It would just help all of us, who can't dedicate 14 hours to exercise to understand how you are doing it? If this is a daily thing how long will it take before you are completely burned out and literally incapable of doing it to that extreme any longer. I would suspect you would hit burnout within a weeks time.

I believe everyone that commented on your blog only wishes the best for you and wants to read about your success. We want to see you reach your goal. But we all want you to go about it in a healthy, realistic way also.

Sometimes we tend to take positive criticism in a negative way. Positive criticism is when someone points out something that we are doing incorrectly in order to help us correct the wrong and to improve. Positive criticism is a good thing but we have to be able to tell the difference when someone is pointing out a wrong for our own good and when someone is being cruel and is just wanting to make us look back or calls us a liar.

I hope you can receive what I've said in a positive way because that is my intent. I truly, and with all honest and sincerity want you to succeed. I wish you the best.

    I was just looking at your fitness tracker (which you have chosen to make public) and see that you are posting over 14 hours of actual exercise almost every single day, things like situps, push-ups and pole-dancing for 2 hours each, plus several others for 2 each! I think it's understandable that some might find that hard to believe. For most of us, that would be totally impossible as well as unhealthy. Maybe you'd be better off making your tracker private?

    I hope that the blessing far out weigh the ugly comments. Just delete the comments and then delete them from your mind at the same time. Report them to Spark People and they will have to be the one to leave. emoticon

    I have been at SP since it began...don't even KNOW how many years....and have NEVER had anyone say anything "hateful". We don't always agree on things, especially when the conversations migrate toward other topics, but can we learn anything if we never listen to folks who think differently than we do?

I hope you can resolve this without hurt feelings and still use this very practical site for your own benefit, all the while encouraging others.

    If this is all about that one comment on your page, he was only trying to be helpful. I went and looked back at your trackers. I would definitely suggest looking at your nutrition a little more carefully (1 gram of brewed tea? or 1 gram of sliced apple?) These amounts are so small. Grams are closer to paper clips in weight. I also wonder if maybe you intended to put the number of reps of your ST, rather than the time you spent doing that, or you spent 120 minutes doing all of those things. But someone suggesting that you make sure to input things correctly is absolutely not bullying. It may make you feel bad because they don't do things the way you do things, but don't let it.

    It doesn't look like bullying to me, it looked like helpful comments. 14 hours a day looks like it is either a mistake or unhealthy/obsessive. I agree with Naypooie-this is not what bullying looks like.

    Hi! I have been with SP for 1 1/2 years and I have had some problems with some people but the majority have been really great. I just chose to ignore them, removed their comments from my SparkPage and if they were friends, blocked them.

I hope you choose what is good for you here in SP. Like in the world, here too are people who aren't friendly. Reach out to those of us who care about you and want you to succeed. emoticon emoticon YOU HAVE THE POWER IN YOUR LIFE.

    We are all different. Sometimes a person's communication style may be a problem, or that they are just having a bad day, or some other circumstance.

It helps me to keep my perspective if I give them a break and it makes me feel like a better person. I also sometimes remind myself that I am not made of glass or that I am a big girl and I can handle it.

Someone once pointed out to me that we give ourselves credit for intentions but others credit only for actions and results.

    OK, looked around, and I see no bullies, haters, other mean people. Someone suggested that she must of erred when she entered that she was working out 14 hours a day.

And frankly, entry error looks a lot more likely than exercising 14 hours in a single day. It isn't bullying, it's just pointing out that it looks like she did something incorrectly.

Here JUST FOR ILLUSTRATION !!! is what bullying would look like: Hey dumb$hit, no way you work out 14 hours a day! Who do you think you're kidding? You think anyone's going to believe that BS?

"please input CORRECTLY" (what was actually said) isn't.

I am so sorry this has happened to you, I've never heard of this happening on Spark before, the best thing to do is report it to one of the Coaches and keep in close contact with all your friend's and Teams that are supporting you. emoticon emoticon

    questioning is not bullying . It is up to you to be honest with yourself about what you truly do or do not. maybe the people who questioned you have a real concern for you. extreme exercising is not good for you at all . 14 hours in a day is to much . hugs there is a lot of love here you need to remember that

    Sorry to hear that you think of it as being bullied. Not that at all. Please do not think that.
It's just ,that alot of people work really hard each and every day.
Struggling with weight issues and everything else. Just like you and me.
It just seems to me that your posted exercise minutes. 14hours each day doing the exact same exercises each day seems extreme.
I apologize if you think that is a form of bullinging. That is not my intentions.
It's just about keeping spirits and motivation up and some people get frustrated when they can't do enough.
I hope you and all the other bloggers understand where I'm coming from.

    You should not be bullied or intimidated by anyone. I would take your fitness and food trackers and make them private. I don't know if other people do this -- but if you are traveling or away from the internet for several days you can enter up to 7 days ahead or 7 days after. I have done that after backpacking, and I will do it again after my cruise. Spark only lets you get up to 25 exercise points a day -- and after all the points are just a way of tracking your progress! So no one should criticize anyone else's fitness points and progress. Hang in there Melanie! (you can also block the people who are negative and delete their posts)

Who are these weird people? They obviously have no lives if they can analyze and criticize how much exercise you do or don't do. Sparkpeople is an honour system and it is totally up to you what you do or don't do. I believe you but even if you made up statistics who exactly would you be hurting? emoticon Maybe if you made your page private or something you could only let in those you wanted to and block the bullies.

A brilliant psychiatrist once told me, "What other people think of me is none of my business." Meaning they don't really know you, especially true on a virtual site. So ignore them and just concentrate on all your supportive friends.

    I am sorry to hear someone bullied you.I came to your bog from a friend's and it was a first time read for me.I often post very high exercise times because I spend my days doing physiotherapy (yes it does count as exercise !) If people have nothing better to do than judge you shame on them.I obviously don't know you but I would never presume to judge you.I also would not tell you to not blog , I would suggest ignoring the person who has been so rude.I normally say consider the source.Generally I think this is a friendly site and I would not want a few bad apples to tarnish the image of the majority . Carry on doing what you enjoy knowing more people support you than not !

    I just looked at your fitness log, and I can see why people are skeptical. It says you did 14 hours and five minutes of exercise today and every day you recorded exercise for the past several months.

While that's not impossible, it would pretty much prevent you from doing anything else with your day. Did you really mean to say you did two hours of situps? And two hours of pushups? And two hours of bike, yoga, etc.?

If you say that's what you do, I'm willing to believe you. I'd just like to confirm that you actually meant to say what you said.

    When you feel bullied then you should report these people to Spark. I think that they would like to know. I don't think they would like it some some members run other members off.

I think that if someone doesn't believe another's progress they should just keep their opinions to themselves.

    Block them, or set blogs to private. What they post on your page, post it back a million times. Once they are treated the same way. They will stop. I normally don't tell people to do this, but it seems like it is the same person. Keep standing.. Or you could create a new spark page.

    This makes me so sad. And also part of why I made my trackers all hidden. It is me and my computer. My blog entries are out there for anyone to read but not much else. Do. Not. Give. Up!
