I got my second shot yesterday, and am glad to be one step closer to being done with this process. I think that I can probably report that I'm experiencing the mood changes and irritability so many people have reported. I'll try to keep a handle on it.
It'll be interesting to see whether I have a return of the earlier side effects with each shot. Yesterday, I could definitely feel it—my muscles were a little weak and shaky at my workout, though I got through it. I was headachy, though managed to fight off a migraine, and the hot flashes are still pretty mild. I'm starting to understand why people don't chronicle this in more detail—it's basically, a little bit of every side effect you can think of. But so far, none are affecting my life dramatically. Just gotta stay stubborn, keep taking all my supplements, try to stay calm and ignore them, pretty much.
A couple things I've definitely noticed—coffee makes the hot flashes a lot more intense and frequent. I'm sticking to about half a cup a day most days. I think the ginger and turmeric supplements are really helping, too, especially the ginger with the digestive issues. Concentration is tough. That's probably the biggest thing, since my work is highly technical and it's difficult to focus for very long. Also, I got my period on September 18th and... I still have it. So, that's not much fun! But, onward.
Anyway! I'll probably just do this once a month from now on, unless something changes, and when I'm done I'll post all of them to hystersisters.
