It's always a great idea to start a 10 week weight loss challenge the week of your TOM. It gives you a bit of cheat those first two weeks as the swelling goes down all around. Then you take that and run with it, literally. I'm working through week 3 of the 5K your way run/walk program and I love it. I hate running, but I set this goal and I love meeting this challenge. Well not hate running, but I have learned I'm not a runner, but I decided to try it so I'll see this through to my 5K. I was good, I ran right after work yesterday, broke my record and did the 5K in 43:04. Then I took a quick 30 minute nap, set a timer laid down and just closed my eyes, it was perfect. Woke up and got ready to go out with a girlfriend for a bit. Made a new friend at work and yesterday we decided to hang out outside of work, it was a good time but I am sleepy. That's what you get for going out on a school night.
With the beautiful afternoon coming I'll workout outside after work. No lunch walk, I don't want to be all uncomfortable and sweaty in my work clothes, and changing is not practical. I love having these afternoons free. I'll do my best every day of October to take good care of myself and keep up with this weight loss. I'm excited for my Saturday morning weigh in, I made a enough progress to carry me though to the next week.
