A successful day of fasting to cleanse and also to take back a little control over my eating. Broke my fast this morning with a 3 egg white omelette of spinach, chopped red pepper and shaved parmesan cheese in a tsp. of coconut oil over 8 sprigs of steamed asparagus. I am thankful for a phone conversation last evening with a wellness coach who is in training. I volunteered to be one of her practice clients. We talked about visualization and I found myself describing my spirituality, clarity and cleansing as key elements in my vision for wellness. I pulled Tosca Reno's book about eating clean down off the shelf again last night.
