Day 21: Weigh in #fail

Wednesday, October 02, 2013

Yeah, so today I was supposed to weigh in. Aaaaaanndd I didn't. There was a house inspection at the crack of dawn, and I literally {okay, fine, figuratively}didn't breathe until 11 am. So by the time I stepped on the scale, I had already eaten, showered, drank tea and water etc and the scale reading was WAAAAY off. So instead of panicking, I am logging the last weight I knew from three days ago - 249 lbs. So long 250s. again.

Today I am eating as per my blog yesterday and I feel great! It's SO good to have a plan. I've wandered into the kitchen only to remember that I am eating "on plan" this week and that the next food I have available are hardboiled eggs and salad and walked out. Somehow I don't want to binge on eggs and veggies.... strange.... emoticon

Tonight I'm planning a tasty dinner of veggie soup in a bread bowl. I still need some carbs so I think a bread bowl will do the trick :) Plus... um YUM!!! It's spring now, and I'm going to miss making soup every week. I think this will be the last soup I make for the season. We're hoping to be States-side by thanksgiving so I can jump back into it once we're there. It's more like a momentary pause of sorts.

I also did my strength today. Nothing hectic, just did as many incline pushups as I could without losing form - 16- and held a modified plank as long as I could - 15 seconds. I have very poor core body strength so I think once I get my modified plank up to a full 60 seconds, I'll be able to do a few seconds of a real plank and maybe do a real life push up or two! Both of which would be incredible!

Tomorrow I would like to do 20 incline pushups and I want to aim for a 30 second plank hold without losing form. I think I can do it!
