How's a unique rabbit like my exercise plan?

Tuesday, October 01, 2013

Cos you have to 'neek up on both of them
(get it? u-nique)
Sorry that's an old joke that shoulda been shot
and put out of its misery a long time ago.

But my point is like sneaking up on that rabbit,
I've got to sneak up on my exercise plan.

Yesterday I started with the stretches -
very light, mind you, but thorough . . .
and last night my back went into spasms.

So I soaked in the hot tub and dug out the ol
heating pad. Today, I've been very active
and doing more stretches.

So far, so good.

Not to worry. This too shall pass.
I know it is temporary.

I'm feeling like a crispy critter these days. Joints are talking to me big time...more like yelling at me really. I think a big weather change must be coming on. About time for it. I'm still wearing summer shorts and sleeveless tops.

u- nique all right! great post.
My legs spasm sometimes at night especially after a hard day of work in my yard. Actually I get leg cramps all the time or I did until I started monitoring more minerals on spark like Magnesium, phosphorus and what the heck I threw in sodium. And since I am watching what I eat and buying all low or no sodium I was surprised when I got a pop up (or a report) saying that I was seriously low in sodium and to check what I ate and recalculate if necessary. So I did. It turned out I normally get about 4-600mg of sodium and I need 1200- 2500mg. I went to my Dr and he confirmed it!
I make an electrolyte with Himalayan sea salt, lemon and honey and drink it through the day and poof no more cramps! I have to work to get my sodium up to 1500 and usually get around 1200 but I am not a salt fan. We rarely eat out.
Great post, loved it!

I woke up and felt horrible, went to P.T. and felt better, went to Curves and felt horrible, took my Motrin and ended the day feeling tolerable! Who said we couldn't fake feeling like we are still in our 20s - LOL!
