Well, our little furry friend, Garfield is settling in nicely. He is sitting on the edge of the table as I type this trying to make friends with our Miss Molly. They did manage a nose touch. Things are moving along. Twitchie is starting to try to make friends. Fauna still prefers to stay downstairs or aloft in the kitchen. Others are going to different places to sleep. Sometimes he finds them and the chase begins. Now that he has been here a few days, he is finding other things to play with besides black cats. I mentioned last night that he had found the little blue wheel with a ball and bell in it. That is a favorite. I will post a video of that. It's just too cute. He throws himself into it 100%. He spends most of his time out during the day. He sleeps in his room at night so we avoid any confrontations with the big dog. He is making himself at home one day at a time.
Tomorrow, he goes to see his new vet, Dr. Melinda Dosch. She and her partner, Dr. Ritter are awesome. They have such a heart for the critters. Don't think he will like the ride, tho' cuz I probly won't let him out of the carrier like Dad did.
For the most part, our Mr. Garfield is doing very well. ....... Stryder and Garfield just got up close and personal. Garfield turned into an instant fuzz ball hiss and spitting and Stryder kept dancing around. They are not ready to be friends yet. Stryder is outside for a few and Gar is up on the counter.
Guess that's all for now. Life is normal with a new kitten in the house. Fur Babies get cranky and dogs have to resist the urge to chase them. Ah well, another day. Check out the video and some of his antics. It is for sure not dull. Be back later.......
