Hello Fellow Sparkers!
As I go on this journey you may have noticed, I have lost 44 lbs and then slowed down on the losses. I noticed this too. I have learned during this section of the journey that I can maintain this pretty well.
Pixie-Licious has invited me to join her, as she does Jillian Michaels 30 day Shred again. So I have decided to join her. Those that know me, know I am not one to make a commitment easily; as I don't want to set myself up for failure. I am pretty hard on myself in such cases and am working on this during this journey too.
Today I woke up at 3:45am to let our dogs
out and decided, since I get up at 5am, what better time than the present then to start the "Shred". Oh I was nervous
about doing them push-ups
mind you, but Pixie-Licious was very encouraging
and told me not to think that I had to do it just like them and to just take my time and only do what my body would allow. What a great friend
to soothe me and let me know it is ok to just do what you can
I did pretty good today and am looking forward to tomorrows workout. I am not sure I am going to rise and shine every morning at 4am to do the workout, but I will get it done at least 6 days a week, so as not to burn out.
I am also making sure I get a minimum of 10,000 steps a day 5x a week or more.
I am being mindful of my eating and hoping to stay around a 1500 calorie intake. The first two days have gone pretty good so far.
I am looking forward to the end of this month to see how my progress will look.
I will be taking my measurements tonight and take them again at the end. I may even do photos, but have not decided yet!
