I'm hereby stopping today to say FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY GET THE PROCESSED CARBS OUT OF THE HOUSE BEFORE I EAT THEM ALL!!!
I think I need a new plan. Something to 1. get me excited like I used to be and 2. to give these days some structure.
I'm in the middle of a crazy crazy (AMAZING!) life change, no longer working, and I'm not sitting down to eat. Instead, I pick off of something (yesterday I ate 4 servings of instant oats. Because they are instant and I was hungry and I didn't want to make anything) or eat cheese. Neither of these things are very good. But they are fast and taste good.
Time for a plan, yes?
Also, I haven't mentioned this yet- our house is sold!! We put it on the market a couple weeks ago with intention of immigrating. And it's sold! Ironically, next week is our final interview for hubby's green card and then we can buy tickets and sell all our stuff.
And by sell all our stuff I mean I HAVE TO FIND SOMEONE TO PAY ACTUAL REAL MONEY FOR ALL OF MY CRAP.
Thirdly, I'm officially setting a short term goal. I estimate we have 8 weeks left in South Africa. In these 8 weeks, I hereby aim to:
1. Work towards doing one actual real life pushup. This means daily incline pushups and modified planks. If nothing else, I can do these two things.
2. Drink 2 jugs of water. I've been half assing the last 3 days so back on that!
3. Eat clean! (this is going to be the hardest one!)
I'm borrowing mojo from my SP friend Jacobsbeloved and planning my morning/afternoon and having a tasty dinner at night. So, this means something like
Breakfast: Greek yogurt and fruit with 1tsp honey
Morning Snack: boiled eggs
Lunch: Salad with some protein
Afternoon Snack: raw veggies and dip
Dinner: Something homemade, clean and delicious.
It's going to be tough. But I want to step onto American soil in something other than sweatpants and maternity jeans.
Also? I have a teething cranky baby. Someone help me.
