Having Off Days Is A Part Of Life

Tuesday, October 01, 2013

Everyone has off days. The trick is to not let it get the best of you. Take a deep breath, accept the fact that despite all your plans it is just not going the way you intended and exhale, releasing all the negativity, control issues, and anxiety you're experiencing because of it. Purposely choose to dwell on the positive and continue on your way.

This is a very timely post--I had one of those days yesterday. Today I will do better. I am not a failure--thanks for the reminder! emoticon

I never have an off Food Day, but a day can be "off" in many other ways. For me, as long as the food is under control, I can roll with the rest of it.

So true. I once saw a calender somewhere on the net with x marks the bad days and when you look at the year....its not many compared to the ticked days. I keep a write and wipe calender in front of me on my wall and record victories and losses. It helps, because I cannot compute without seeing the calender.
