Getting right again

I didnt step of the wagon Nope I fell and I feel hard. September was plagued with lots of downs and not nearly as many ups. I tried the best I could to maneuver through all that was going on so many levels but I am happy this is the last day of this god forsaken month. I didnt log much gym time but I did plenty of walking. Yesterday I set up a new exercise schedule and yes the gym is in it. My body has gone flabby so it is time to shake whatever has hold me and get back to the track with my exercising. This is a little difficult as i had gotten use to my son doing weights with me. He was much more knowledgeable than me but oh well I have to do it alone then so be it .

Today was legs / abs.
3 sets of 10 on leg press @ 70 lbs.
3 sets of 10 of single leg press @ 70 lbs.
3 sets of 10 leg extension machine @ 70 lbs.
3 sets of 10 seated leg curl machine @ 50 pounds
3 sets of 10 Hip abduction @ 70 lbs.
3 sets of 10 hip adduction @ 70 lbs.
3 sets of 10 weighted ab crunch machine @ 70 pounds
90 reps on Resistant crunch machine @ 8 setting
60 weighted squats .. weight 10 pound dumbbells
60 walking lunges
and I walked 3 miles but i was shooting for a 5 mile walk but I think that was over achieving a bit.

Tomorrow is shoulders and abs and a walk .

I hurt right now but no more than i expected to . The first step back is always the hardest one to get you going forward again .

    Great workout. Keep walkng and 5 miles will seem like nothing! And you know how to walk though the low points to get back on track.

    September wasn't a banner month for me either. I didn't do horribly, but I didn't progress much either. Well, on the weight side of it. But I did progress on the running side, so I need to be easier on myself don't I!?!

(((HUGS))) to you Darlene. This journey has some backwards times in it, the point is to OVERALL go forward. I'm preachin' to myself too.

    I have had to regroup as well and after a while it is very satisfactory to know you are back on the right course. The hardest part was the first couple of weeks and that made me take on the biggest loser challenge to give me an incentive to keep going.it'working! Your programme looks as though it will do the trick. I hope you have a better month ahead of you than the last one was. emoticon
