I am here, my weight is still the same, 163. It is lower than my original weight of 184. Before I even started Sparkpeople, I lost 21 lbs but seem to be stuck. I have worked out, hired trainers, done all kinds of exercise. I just eat too much! My husband asked me if I have really tried to analyze why I struggle with this so much. While I told him yes, I really started thinking about his question. In reading my previous blogs, and doing some soul searching, I have concluded that I attach to much negativity to weight loss. I think weight loss is deprivation so of course I would sabotage my attempts. Starting today, my goal is to monitor my thoughts about food consumption. I will replace my deprivation thoughts with a positive one. Instead of self talk about how much I want something that I know will not help me reach my goal. I am going to remind myself of WHY I WANT TO REACH MY GOAL. My plan is for the positive to out-talk the negative until the positive wins and it becomes a habit. It's just as easy to focus on positive as it is the negative and it feels WAY BETTER!! I plan to do this by posting positive thoughts and some photos on my refrigerator, mirror, cupboards, sun visor in my car etc. I want this to be my last attempt at losing 25 lbs..I WILL SUCCEED. It's up to me and me alone...

    We all know "how" to do it... what we don't all have figured out is how to make ourselves WANT to do it enough to ACT on it with each decision point that comes along! I hear you... and I've been there.

I have to pull myself up by my bootstraps regularly! Friended you back... let's keep this party rolling along!

    I work out at the gym. I start to see my weight go down then I starting eating more. I like your blog. I going to put a picture of me when I was thin and now heavy on the refrigerator. That should stop me.
