Day 26: Forward Progress

Day 26 and usually by now I have thrown in the towel, screamed bloody murder a time or ten, and decided that weight loss is so not worth it. I'm not feeling it this time. I've had some bad days. I've tried to throw it all down the drain more than once. I've definitely gone a lot more slowly than I could go, because there have been more than a few days where I eat from the frustration of how slow weight loss happens. I've had days when I got stressed from whatever the stressor of the day might be, but I've gotten through it.

Not every day is fantastic, but just keep things going in the right direction.

    Hooray for forward progress! I think going slowly is definitely the way to make positive changes, anything more dramatic I have a hard time sticking to. Keep going my friend! emoticon

    glad to hear it. at some point maybe focusing on positive streaks in an overall healthy lifestyle with some room for "living" would be beneficial, rather than number of days "on a diet." gold stars on a calendar? dollars in a jar? i don't know what would motivate you most, but i suspect it might not be racking up days since the "fateful day you decided to do something" -- but maybe it is!
