Day 40 of Insanity… WHhhhhhhaat?????

Today is Day 40 of Insanity… and I’m trying to absorb that. 40. 40 days that I’ve done a program. FORTY! That’s a lot! Especially for me, who has never, ever stuck to a program schedule for even a week. FORTY! MAN! Time to do my happy dance!!!
Today was Max Interval Circuit again, and I loved the workout! I did a lot better than I did the first time I did the workout last Thursday, and I didn't swear or give the finger even once! LOL By the end I wasn’t dead on my feet, I finished strong, and I’m confident that the next time I do the workout I’ll be able to do more jumping than this time. I did have some problems at the very beginning with knee pain, but after the warm up it went away. I was a little concerned at first because it wasn’t a sore feeling like I would normally feel if I had knee pain, it was an actual pain. But like I said, it went away, so today at work I’m going to be careful to keep my legs supported and not twist my legs or knees under me or agitate anything.
Tomorrow is a Plyo workout and then I have a rest day, and then I’m 1 week down! Already?!? I’ll have 3 weeks left in INSANITY! I can’t believe how fast time is flying!
I’ve been trying to think of what I want my next fun weekend workout to be. I don’t think I want to do another hike so soon. They’re fun, but I don’t fully enjoy them because I don’t really get to look at the scenery because I’m so busy huffing and puffing my way up the mountain. Maybe I’ll do a track workout and then take a walk in the woods as a cool down? I’ve been dying to know what I’m capable of on the track now. Before Insanity I could only made it once around the track without having to stop. I bet now I could do more than 1 loop! Or maybe I’ll take the train in to Boston and walk around playing tourist with a couple of books that I have about great walking trails in Boston. Hmmmm…
